On a recent episode of the City Cast Las Vegas podcast, co-host Vogue Robinson refereed a convo between producer Layla Muhammad and co-host Dayvid Figler about the best upcoming summer shows (🎧). Lemme nutshell the good stuff:

Layla: All American Rejects (July 15). Part of the Downtown Rocks free concert series. "They were here last year for the When We Were Young festival, which got shut down by the wind (🎧). All American Rejects went to Soul Belly, I believe, and put on a great show. So it'd be great to show them some Vegas love because they showed Vegas some love."

Dayvid: Fully Loaded Comedy Festival (July 12). "It's being billed as a Lollapalooza of comedy. It has Tiffany Haddish, David Tell, Louis Black, Jim Norton, Bert Kreischer. I'm not the biggest fan of going to arenas, but I think this one's gonna be a lot of fun."

Layla: Jesse Mueller and Seth Rudetsky (June 17). "Mueller is a Tony Award-winning actress. She's been in 'Carousel,' 'Waitress,' and 'The Minutes,' to name a few, and will sing songs from her shows. Rudetsky is a SiriusXM host who's great on a piano and has some great stories, as well."

Dayvid: Garth Brooks (ongoing). This is Dayvid's pick for a family-friendly option. "It really is a great entertainment experience, and I don't think that it's age-specific. He could really get an entire crowd of people singing and grooving along. Pure charisma."

Layla: BlackPink (Aug. 18). "Probably the second biggest K-pop group in the world right now." The show will be at Allegiant Stadium, but don't think that'll make it impersonal. "There are no bad seats at a K-pop show. You're gonna have fun anywhere you sit."
