Summer’s finally here. Here's how to make the most of it.

It’s not hard to find adult friendly fun in Vegas, but what about the youths? Earlier this week, we spoke to Las Vegas Weekly reporter 

 to get the insider tips on where to bring the kiddos this summer. Here are the highlights:

 “IYKYK. It's kind of like a long standing Las Vegas tradition. They have an amazing lineup of different plays and musicals.”

 “Whoever created this clearly loves children and crafting [because] it's all there.”

Downtown Rocks Fremont Street Experience Concert Series

 “There are dozens of bands on this lineup throughout the summer, including The All American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Young the Giant, Neon Trees, Dashboard Confessional. And it's free!”

 “On Tuesdays there's family nights, so you can get the whole crew in with you. They have senior discounts, they have [student] discounts if you have your kids and they can show a photo ID, they get $5 off of their admission. It's a very affordable way to bring a bunch of people together.”

 “This is one of my favorite spots. They have over 2000 board games and an insane amount of space.”

 For that special purgatory age in Vegas where you’re not a kid, but not quite of drinking age yet. “Those emo nights are some of the most fun I've ever had at Brooklyn Bowl.”

Vegas is an obvious choice if you want to experience the best in entertainment, but what if you’re ballin’ on a budget? We invited our friend Andrew Kiraly from 

 to the City Cast Las Vegas podcast to share his tips for summer fun on a budget. Here are some highlights.

Get up close and personal with performers and enjoy the gastro creations from chef Leo Herbias.

Pay five bucks at the door and play to your heart’s desire. They also have fantastic beverages to keep you in the zone.

Taking place every third Sunday of each month at the Downtown Container Park.

Andrew Kiraly says, “one of my favorite spots in town. They're kind of a thing right now for their slabby, flavorlicious, Detroit style pizza, but they actually have a really robust live music roster.”

Pop up comedy shows at secret locations around Vegas, what’s not to like? From Andrew Kiraly:

“The one I saw was actually at a circuit training gym. We saw like six comedians. It’s like 17 cents a laugh.”

This, to me, exemplifies summer fun on a budget. They have local vendors, food trucks, and entertainment.

 of the City Cast Las Vegas podcast, co-host Vogue Robinson refereed a convo between producer Layla Muhammad and co-host Dayvid Figler about 

 Part of the Downtown Rocks free concert series. "They were here last year for the When We Were Young festival, 

 (🎧). All American Rejects went to Soul Belly, I believe, and put on a great show. So it'd be great to show them some Vegas love because they showed Vegas some love."

 "It's being billed as a Lollapalooza of comedy. It has Tiffany Haddish, David Tell, Louis Black, Jim Norton, Bert Kreischer. I'm not the biggest fan of going to arenas, but I think this one's gonna be a lot of fun."

 "Mueller is a Tony Award-winning actress. She's been in 'Carousel,' 'Waitress,' and 'The Minutes,' to name a few, and will sing songs from her shows. Rudetsky is a SiriusXM host who's great on a piano and has some great stories, as well."

 This is Dayvid's pick for a family-friendly option. "It really is a great entertainment experience, and I don't think that it's age-specific. He could really get an entire crowd of people singing and grooving along. Pure charisma."

 "Probably the second biggest K-pop group in the world right now." The show will be at Allegiant Stadium, but don't think that'll make it impersonal. "There are no bad seats at a K-pop show. You're gonna have fun anywhere you sit."
