New Year’s Eve brings celebrations, champagne, and a big question for every Las Vegan …

“Do I really want to brave the Strip?”

Las Vegas hosts one of the largest holiday parties in the country and while the Strip captures most of the attention, we’ve got a few alternatives for fireworks and fun.

🎆 Fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip

Following tradition, midnight fireworks erupt from the rooftops of the Aria, Caesars Palace, Fontainebleau, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Resorts World, The Strat, Treasure Island, and Venetian. The Palms is getting in on the action this year too, making the "America's Party" show bigger than ever with the addition of an off-Strip property.

Best Vantage Points

  • The Strat has a few options for New Year’s Eve, including Party in the Tower with a DJ, party favors, and champagne toast, beginning at $205.
  • Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood has viewing locations from the outdoor patio and The Loft upstairs with bottomless food and drink packages. (Hello tequila 👋) Tickets begin at $250.
  • Ocean Prime, with a perfect view of the fireworks from the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Harmon. Admission is $400, but $300 is applied to food and beverage.
  • BrewDog has a rooftop deck that's perfect for watching Strip fireworks. Tickets begin at $295 and include unlimited bites, open bar, and more.
  • BLVD (the largest thing on the Strip you've never been to) will have a free viewing party on the third-floor Overlook patio with cash bars and slices of pizza for sale from the newly opened How Ya Dough'n.
  • AREA15 has a few NYE parties, but feel free to splurge on tickets for Liftoff, a circular bar that rises 130 feet in the air for wild, unobstructed views of the Strip fireworks. Tickets are $270.94 and include a cocktail or glass of champagne.
  • KAOS has great views of the fireworks overhead at the Palms with tickets beginning at $50.
  • The Strip itself will be closed to traffic, opening up Las Vegas Blvd. to pedestrians as one giant block party.

🎆 Fireworks in Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown will ring in 2026 when fireworks shoot off from the Plaza hotel, just west of the Fremont Street Experience.

Best Vantage Points

  • The Fremont Street Experience has a Countdown Under the Canopy party, featuring performances by Robin Thicke, CeeLo Green, Common Kings, and more. Tickets are $60.
  • The Legacy Club has a New Year’s Eve party from the rooftop of Circa, featuring an open bar and view of the Plaza fireworks. Tickets begin at $295.
  • 18bin in the Arts District has patio views that may allow you to see the fireworks at the Plaza, but probably has clearer sightlines of The Strat. Plus, $50 open bar.

🎆 Fireworks in Henderson

Lake Las Vegas will set off fireworks above the water at the stroke of midnight.

Best Vantage Points

🎆 Fireworks Elsewhere

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will have a fireworks showcase as part of its holiday Glittering Lights spectacle. Drive your own car through the colorful light display and watch the fireworks at the family-friendly time of 9 p.m. Tickets begin at $39.
