As the weather warms up, it’s prime time to take your dog out on the town

Lauren Nowak, who runs the Instagram account whippet_in_vegas, shares her favorite spots to bring her whippets Remy and Rio in Las Vegas, which she calls “one of the more dog friendly towns I've ever been to.”

🛍️ Dog-Friendly Shops

“On the Strip, I have to say the Forum Shops at Caesars. They're amazing and dog friendly. The District at Green Valley Ranch is a fabulous place to walk with so many dog-friendly stores and establishments, especially the farmers market and the Makers Hive Market.”

🌲 Dog-Friendly Parks

“Inspirada's newest dog park, Montagna, is absolutely gorgeous. It's very clean, very large, and it has a Strip view too. Mt. Charleston is great, of course — a lot of dog-friendly picnic areas and trails to hike.”

☕ Dog-friendly Coffee Shops

“My favorite at the moment is Makers & Finders. They have a few locations around town. I really love Mothership and Sunrise for a quick bite in the mornings.”

🍺 Dog-Friendly Bars & Restaurants

Grape Street Cafe & Wine Bar is fantastic. I love their salmon salad, and I've never had a bad experience bringing my dogs there. If you’re on the Strip, BrewDog is a rooftop bar and restaurant. They are super dog friendly. You can go ahead and take dogs in the elevator as long as they're not harassing other patrons. Another place I really like is Lazy Dog — I mean, it's right there in the title. They even have a dog menu.”
