As the war in the Middle East enters a fourth week, an Iranian general warns that ā€œparks, recreational areas, and tourist destinationsā€ around the world could be targeted in retaliation. Specific locations weren’t mentioned, but Las Vegas is a high-profile travel market and Gov. Lombardo discussed the possibility of a strengthened police presence after the U.S. attacked Iran. • The most likely form of retaliation in Las Vegas could be a cyberattack. Here’s a clue — it’s happened before. Iran hacked the Sands computer system in 2014, wiping out hard drives while interfering with computers, loyalty rewards, data storage, and even phones at the Venetian and Palazzo. [Bloomberg]
  • According to a new poll, a majority of Americans believe President Trump will order troops into a large-scale ground war in Iran, although just 7% support boots on the ground. [Reuters]

As the Iran War dominates national headlines, No Kings protests against the president are back, taking place throughout the country on Saturday, March 28. The following rallies are planned for Southern Nevada:

Las Vegas: Federal Courthouse, 4-7 p.m.

Henderson: Eastern & Horizon Ridge, 10 a.m. - Noon

North Las Vegas: Craig Ranch Regional Park, 10 a.m. - Noon

Pahrump: Location TBA, 9-11 a.m.

Mesquite: Location TBA, 10 a.m. - Noon
