UNLV Star Quarterback Quits, First Election Votes Roll In, and Downtown Festival Says Mackle-No-More
It’s been a scandalous week in Las Vegas, and we are here to break it all down in our weekly news roundup. First, UNLV’s starting quarterback quits over social media amid a winning streak. The student-athlete claims he was promised $100,000 for transferring but was never paid. Next, the first two votes have been cast in Nevada for the next president thanks to a new absentee ballot system, but not without criticism over election security. Lastly, the Neon City Festival drops headliner Macklemore just days after announcing the lineup after the rapper led a “F- America” chant at a recent concert.
