Is Vegas Ready for Another Cyber Attack?
When news broke of the cyber attacks on MGM and Caesars last month, Las Vegas was left reeling — and the lives of both tourists and employees were upended. Though the casino behemoths now reportedly have their systems back under control, the impacts are still being felt: Tens (if not hundreds) of millions of dollars in losses, the unknown extent of the personal data breach, and lawsuits.
Today, host Dayvid Figler sits down with Las Vegas Weekly staff writer Amber Sampson, who recently wrote a feature story about what Vegas casinos are doing in the aftermath of these attacks. How is their security infrastructure changing, what should customers do to protect themselves, and the big question: Is Vegas ready for another cyber attack?
