Before everyone rushes off to dive into a pool of sprinkles, here are a few locally owned spots to add to your summer list. From the classic neighborhood scoop shops and rolled innovations to flavor profiles beyond your wildest dreams, these creamy creators make Las Vegas a sweet place.
Sorry, Not Sorry Creamery
When Drew Belcher, Kevin Whelan, and Timothy Dang opened Sorry, Not Sorry Creamery, they built the kind of ice cream shop they wanted to visit themselves. Sinfully delish small-batch flavors, an irreverent attitude, and bold social media presence keep the masses lining up, whether it's for Campfire S'mores, Ube Honeycomb, Bumbleberry Cheesecake Crumble, or whatever the team dreams up next.
- Know Before You Go: With five locations across the valley and even two in Southern California, whenever the craving hits, you won’t be sorry or very far from sweet victory.
Frost N’ Roll
At Frost N' Roll, ordering ice cream comes with front-row seat theatrics. Based on a Thai-style technique, fresh cream is poured onto a frozen steel plate, mixed to order, and rolled by hand into delicate spirals. All the bases are homemade and customizable, and the croissant-waffle hybrid, Cookie Butter Triple Croffle, sells out daily, so it's best to plan indulgence accordingly.

Purple Penguin
Purple Penguin Snowcone Shack opened in 2009 in response to the lack of quality “ice” in the valley. Now, they are known for their 40 exotic, handcrafted snowcone flavors, including Pickle Juice, Cucumber Melon, the Silver Fox, Wedding Cake, and many more. Their Water Street shop and walk-up window are a year-round mainstay, as is the Red Bull Snowcone.
- Know Before You Go: Their PurplePenguinLV Instagram account is good for a laugh — who knew snowcone humor could be so entertaining — and it doubles as a resource for the special events happening on Water Street.
Creamberry
You aren’t really livin’ unless you’ve had Creamberry's Cotton Candy Burrito, scoops of ice cream inside freshly spun cotton candy, on a 110+-degree day. This viral confectionery mashup created by Jimelen Marie Galvez at the Rainbow Blvd. boutique dessert studio isn’t just meant to be eaten — it is meant to thrill your feed.
