🍝 First Look at New Esther’s

Esther’s Kitchen, the beloved — but very small: 58 seats — Arts District Italian joint run by chef James Trees, has a new, much larger home in the works. Food journalist Johnathan L. Wright got a sneak peek of the in-process buildout of the 12,000-square-foot former Retro Vegas space on Main Street. [Review-Journal]

Local food Twitterers recently scorched Eater Vegas’ list of the top burgers in town, but this rundown of best hot dog joints seems more reliable, at least based on my experiences. I’ll defend Buldogi’s and Steamie Weenie against all comers! [Eater Vegas]
