Nuclear Testing Returns to Nevada, Las Vegas Eyes Sloan for Growth, and Where to Relax with a Drink
The Nevada National Security Site is now a testing ground for microreactors, which got us wondering if Nevada is ready for another atomic age. The Nevada Department of Transportation has its sights set on developing 31,000 acres between Sloan and Jean as it tries to get ahead of a projected 44% increase in employment by 2050, but how far can Las Vegas realistically grow?
