An Insider's Guide to the Amargosa Valley
About an hour away from Las Vegas on the south Nevada/California border sits the Amargosa Valley. Now, according to Amargosa Conservancy executive director Mason Voehl, is the best time to see the basin that offers a variety of attractions and natural wonders. From sand dunes to hot springs, a date farm to an opera house, Voehl tells co-host Sarah Lohman why visiting the Amargosa is essential for Las Vegans.
