Southwest Gas is asking the Nevada Public Utilities Commission for permission to hike rates that would add about seven bucks to the average monthly bill. The utility says it needs $66 million in additional revenue — without mentioning out loud that much of the funds are spent on luxury executive perks, including hotels, dining, limos, and international travel.
