Good morning, Vegas!

It’s Bryan, here again. I have a confession to make: I don’t get In-N-Out. It’s not bad, but it’s not amazing, either.

Obviously I’m in the minority here, as evidenced by yesterday’s opening of a MASSIVE new In-N-Out right on The Strip at The BLVD. Now there’s a new location to get your fill of Double Doubles and Animal Fries.

Now, onto today’s news!

What Las Vegas's Talking About

🎰 A 'Terrible' Solution to Keep Primm Open

Just weeks before the Primm casinos and hotels were set to close for good, the Nevada family behind the “Terrible’s” brand has swooped in to save the day. This new partnership promises to breathe fresh life into the beloved town on the California-Nevada border, keeping all hotels, casinos, and gas stations open with planned upgrades in the coming years. 💰 You’ll Need More Money Than Ever To Buy A Home

Southern Nevada home prices set a record high last month, with a median price of $499,000 for single family homes. That’s great news for homeowners, but a tough pill to swallow for anyone looking to break into the market. Condos and townhomes remain a relative bargain, with the median sale price down nearly 4% over the past year. [KSNV]

🤖 More Robots Are Coming

A small army of Tesla Robotaxis may be heading to Clark County. The company filed an application with the Nevada Transportation Authority to bring up to 5,000 of the self-driving vehicles to the valley. [KLAS]

  • Speaking of Elon: The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority agrees to pay his boring Company $25 million over five years to keep running the Vegas Loop under the Convention Center. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

👑 What’s Madonna’s Beef With Vegas?

Don’t expect the Queen of Pop to host a residency at the Sphere, or anywhere else in town. During a press event for her upcoming album, Madonna shot down the idea, saying: ”The Sphere is cool, but I don’t want to wake up every morning and see Vegas, I just don’t.” [Neon]

  • Madonna has a complicated history with Vegas. Her three-night performance at Caesars Palace in 2019 was marked by complaints about a strict no-phones policy, and a show that started so late a Florida man sued. [Los Angeles Blade]
